I (21F) dreamt that I was admitted into a dragon college. To get into this collage you had to go single file up a Cliffside and once you were at the top a second /third year student would welcome you and look into your mind to see if you were good enough. If you weren't good enough they would give you a beautiful flower and you would die. There was one student that sendt flowers down the Cliffside and anyone who was foolish enough to grab one would die. I found 3 friends that day and we were inseparable. I also started talking to a second year who had long blond hair, muscular build and he was stunning to look at. I thought I could never have him as more than a friend since I was a small town, short, curvy and funny girl. The school year went by, I got a hold of my powers pretty quickly and got bonded to a large black dragon. Lance the unattainable second year had a large white dragon. One day me and my 3 friends went to the ball hosted on the last day of school. There was a strange energy. it was the day where the veil between the living and dead were the weakest. We went to check it out, 1 of my friends was a princess, she led us to the tunnel system under the school. I felt a pull of energy. We took a boat and followed that pull into a large chamber, I realized that the water was the veil between the living and dead. Someone had followed us and made a maelstrom in the water. We were sucked into it, but that person who followed us went in and we never saw her again. I used my power to hold our boat steady as I yelled at my friends to check for a bottom with their ores. It was shallow. My friends using their power took planks from the shelves that were along the walls and created stilts for the boat. I moved the boat with my powers onto the stilts and it worked. We were stuck on the stilts.1 of my friends yelled saying that we should turn the maelstrom off, but when we looked into the water all the souls trapped in the water were disappearing. I said "wait, mabey this is they're chance to get out of limbo". Soon enough all the souls were gone and the water stilled. I heard sloshing. It was Lance, he looked right at me and started to row as fast as he could. He jumped out of the boat saying "I've been looking everywhere for you!" He picked me up and spun me around "don't you ever dissappear like that again, I was worried" he pulled me in close and kissed me. We went to the ball hand in hand. Then I was on the Cliffside again as a second year checking minds
Dreams are highly personal and can have various interpretations based on your individual experiences, emotions, and life situations. However, here are some common themes and meanings that can be drawn from the elements of your dream:
Education and Self-Discovery: The dragon college symbolizes a place of learning and self-discovery. Dragons often represent power, wisdom, and transformation. Your journey up the cliffside and the process of being evaluated suggest you are assessing your own abilities and potential in your waking life.
Friendship and Support: The three friends you made represent camaraderie and support. This suggests that you value relationships that empower you and that you find strength in collaboration.
Inner Strength and Empowerment: Bonding with a dragon, especially a large black one, may symbolize your own inner strength and the journey of mastering your own abilities. The dragons could reflect aspects of yourself that you are learning to control and harness.
Love and Desire: Your feelings toward Lance, the stunning second-year student, reflect desires for connection and the sense of unworthiness (viewing yourself as small-town and ordinary compared to someone idealized). This may symbolize your aspiration for love or companionship that feels slightly out of reach.
Veil Between Life and Death: The idea of the veil suggests a curiosity about the unknown or a confrontation with your fears. The maelstrom representing chaos could signify feelings of being overwhelmed by external pressures or the fear of losing control in a situation.
Rescue and Connection: Lance’s rescue represents emotional support and affection; the kiss signifies a moment of validation and acknowledgment. It may symbolize the aspiration for romantic connection or the relief of having someone in your life who cares for you deeply.
Transformation and Return: Ending on the cliffside as a second-year student signifies growth and the cyclical nature of your journey. You may feel like you are at a new stage in your life, where earlier challenges have led to an evolution in self-awareness and confidence.
Overall, your dream reflects themes of personal growth, empowerment, the importance of friendships, and the exploration of love and emotional connections, alongside an acknowledgment of fears and challenges. It might be insightful to consider your current life circumstances and how they resonate with these themes.
